our soap story

Terrie works as a Full-Time Registered Travel Nurse. She has raised three awesome humans and saw them off into their adult life... until her eldest, Elliott, met Sabrina in 2018.

 

Sabrina is a Full-Time Assistant Community Manager for two apartment communities. She began making melt & pour soaps after her second human was born in December of 2015. After she mastered melt & pour soaps, she taught herself how to make Cold Process Artisan Soaps by watching YouTube videos.

Sabrina heard that Terrie wanted to learn how to make soaps, so in February of 2020, they made their first artisan soap together and in May of 2020, Essence Apothecary was born.
